Classification of digital printing dyes and processes

1. Distributed digital printing

At present, more than 50% of printing inks in my country are disperse dye inks, which are used for printing chemical fiber fabrics such as polyester fibers; non-ionic dyes that exist in a dispersed state.

2. Reactive digital printing

Reactive dye ink accounts for about 29%, mainly used for printing silk, cotton, rayon and linen fabrics; reactive dyes are also called reactive dyes. The color separation of such dyes contains genes that can chemically react with fibers. When printing, the dye reacts with the fiber, and forms a covalent bond between the two to form a whole, which improves the fastness to washing and rubbing.

3. Acid digital printing

Acid dye ink has a small specific gravity and is mainly used for printing wool, nylon, silk and other fabrics. Acid dyes are a kind of water-soluble dyes with acidic groups in their structures, which are printed in acidic media. Acid dyes are brightly colored and have a complete color spectrum. It is mainly used for dyeing and printing of wool, silk and nylon, and can also be used for leather, paper, ink, etc.

4. Pigment digital printing

The amount of pigment ink used in my country is relatively small, less than 2%, mainly including paint, latex, uv, etc.
