Classification of digital printing process

Digital printing mainly includes two printing processes: direct injection printing and heat transfer printing.

Direct-injection fabric printing is widely used, such as hemp, silk, wool, cotton, polyester, nylon, and modal, but it needs sizing, steaming, washing and other processes, and the investment is relatively large. The fastest direct-injection textile printing machine is the Kyocera nozzle (about 40,000 people), followed by the Starlight 1024 (more than 20,000 people) nozzle, which belongs to the high-speed nozzle. Common high-speed nozzles include: Ricoh G5, Seiko, Konica 1024i, etc.

The thermal transfer printing process has high precision, low investment, and no need for pre- and post-processing. However, there are not many suitable fabrics. Mainly used for chemical fiber fabrics. Generally use Epson nozzle, the speed is very slow, suitable for printing samples. Selection of printing machine nozzles: The nozzles of textile printing machines play a decisive role in printing accuracy, inkjet volume, printing speed and production cost. : Starlight, Kyocera. The print head is used as a consumable for several years and needs to be replaced, so the durability and replacement cost of the print head must also be considered.
