Disadvantages and maintenance of velvet fabric

Leave a message

shortcoming

The surface of velvet is densely composed of small fluff, and it is inevitable that some small fluff particles will remain on the clothes during the production and processing of the fabric. Generally, it will be washed out in the first few washings, especially dark clothes such as black, royal blue, and carbon gray. In addition, static electricity is easy to generate in a dry environment. Stacking velvet clothing will damage the natural direction of the fluff, which is difficult to recover and is prone to static electricity.

maintainance

1. Minimize friction, pull hard, and change and wash frequently.

2. It is suitable for washing, not for dry cleaning.

3. Press at medium temperature and use less pushing and pulling to make the clothes stretch and align naturally.

4. Stacked flat, prevent high temperature, high humidity and unclean environment when storing to prevent mildew.
