The perfect solution for poor clothing printing fastness
When it comes to clothing printing, some people will say that the fastness is not good and it will fade in washing water. In summary, there are roughly 6 possibilities.
1. The fabric may contain polyester, or the fabric may be relatively smooth, using cotton slurry instead of nylon slurry. When using nylon thick board slurry, you need to add 1-1.5 of the curing agent.
2. The fabric has too much lint and is too long. It is recommended to use a transparent paste to make the base first, and then print hard with the first knife (it is better to use a hard oil scraper). You can use a wrapped iron to flatten the lint after the transparent base.
3. The weather is humid and the slurry is not fully dried, which may also cause the thick board slurry to have poor fastness after printing and the slurry to fall off. After the surface of the slurry is dry, overheat the reverse side at 140° for 1-2 minutes.
4. If the amount of color paste added exceeds 10%, the amount of transparent paste can be increased.
5. Start baking at high temperature if the surface of the slurry layer is not completely dry. Generally, the slurry layer needs to be naturally dried for about 8 layers before baking (baking before the slurry layer is dry will easily cause bubbling, causing the space between the slurry layers to separation)
6. If none of the above five conditions exist, and the firmness is not yet reached, you can add 1-2% of curing agent to double the firmness. Do not add too much curing agent, as adding more will cause the slurry to become brittle. fracture. After the slurry dries naturally, bake it in the oven at 140 degrees for 1 minute.
